Here you'll find helpful tips, tricks, and forms to help you get the most out of your photo session
Dress comfortably and dress like you. If you are not comfortable in your clothes, it will show in your photos.
Pick 2 or 3 complimentary colors, and a neutral, and vary them throughout everyone's outfit in the shot
Mix darks and lights within the same color family
Throw some patterns into the mix! If one person is wearing a solid blue shirt, another person can wear a striped or floral pattern with hints of blue
Layer solids with patterns
Vary the style of clothing: dresses, long pants, capris, shorts, skirts, etc.
Don't wear matchy-matchy clothes! When everyone is wearing exactly the same thing, the photo starts to resemble the fake family photo that comes in a new picture frame
Don't worry about everyone wearing all of the colors you choose. If each person wears at least one of the colors, you'll have some nicely coordinated outfits for your photo
Avoid clothing with wording or characters. The t-shirt with Alf on the front doesn't make for a very timeless photo
